Old Kimono Tomesode coat / Crane pattern
Kimono Tomesode
The tomesode is the most prestigious formal dress worn by married women in kimono. It is the first formal dress in terms of kimono rank and is equivalent to evening dress in the West, but like evening dress, there are no time restrictions and it can be worn day or night. This tomesode is very old. It can be washed by hand, but there is a possibility that the crane will fade the red colour of the oculus. Please dry it in the shade immediately after washing.
For those who want to wear a kimono but find it too difficult to do so.
It can be tied inside and outside with a string to make a kimono
Wear it as it is and it makes a lovely coat.
